dressageSmallerWelcome to the Flatlanders Dressage & Combined Training Assocation, Inc. website.

Flatlanders Dressage has been active in the Northwest Ohio Region for over thirty years. The group’s purpose is to provide education to members in the art and sport of dressage. In order to accomplish this goal, we have educational programs at our meetings, two different awards programs and an educational riders’ camp.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month and, for the most part, they are held at a central location. Gatherings are informal and consist of an educational program and the business meeting. We usually have a carry-in meal provided by members.

Flatlanders hold three to four informal Fun Shows per year which are for members only. The fee to participate is quite small and is good for the entire day. Judges are hired for events and members may practice their tests. A year-end awards program is offered for these shows.

A dressage camp and clinic is held every year. The camp lasts four days although participants may select to do fewer days. The event is a chance for members to learn and share their riding experiences.

Flatlanders Dressage invites interested parties to attend a meeting. A meeting schedule will be on the club web site along with a schedule of dressage events, shows, and clinics.
